Most UK workplace first aid certificates (EFAW and FAW) are valid for three years. US CPR, AED and BLS certificates usually last two years.

What happens when it expires?

Once a certificate expires you’re no longer counted as a qualified first aider. For First Aid at Work you can take the shorter two-day requalification course if you book before the expiry date.

Use our free reminder service and we’ll email you 90 and 30 days before yours runs out.
